[academic project: spring semester 2020] --This project transforms an 80m2 cafeteria, located at the historic centre of Thessaloniki, into an apartment. An open-space plan with a focused interest in the role and the importance of the interior objects was the main idea. Utilizing the height, an extra mid-floor is proposed, and the previous mezzanine floor is re-established. This split-level system forms both conceptually and practically the indoor space by creating transparent and non-conventional areas.
