Spatial investigations:
experimental architectural design
[academic project: spring semester 2022]    --This course attempted to connect architectural design, as a deep, creative procedure with broad fields of innovation, the study of structures, documentation, as well as other scientific and creative fields, using advanced methodologies for design, spatial representation and fabrication. The aim was to understand the dynamics of space, place and its qualities and the established building schemes. Also, there was a special focus on the experimental process of complex and sometimes unexpected alternative functional programs. Our project proposes a new form of urban narratives, highlighting soil remains, fragments and archaeological findings as parts of an urban spatial vocabulary. In general, the proposal brings out, physically and metaphorically, the elements that compose the subsoil of a city.
